Thoughts…

Josh Headshot I saw this on Twitter and thought to myself, “Hah, that’s great! Someone made a joke video about how FFXV would look if it was demade to look like a PSX-era game!”

No. This is real. What the hell, Square-Enix.

Elliot Headshot They can do this but they can’t make a Switch port?!  And where is the Vita love?

Ok, maybe I should be more positive rather than sit here and port beg.  More FF is never a bad thing.  It does look terrible to me, but there’s a lot more to FF games than how they look.  I guess we’ll see?  Well, I probably won’t, but someone will.  Eventually.  And that’s where you should probably get your hot take from.

Stevo Headshot I still haven’t given any Final Fantasy game a proper chance – the first 10 or 20 hours of FFVII on Steam being the sum total of my investment in the series so far. Unfortunately the “dude-bro” aesthetic of FFXV doesn’t really appeal to me nor does the ability to play it on mobile so I will likely hold out until the SNES Classic is released and make the esteemed Final Fantasy III (or FFVI for you purists) the first of the series that I play to completion.
